History

The Oak Tree is run annually on the Sunday of Labor Day weekend in beautiful historic Geneseo, NY.

The event consists of a Half Marathon, 5K, and free kids fun runs.

History

The first Oak Tree Race was held in 2005 to raise money to support the conservation work of the not-for-profit Genesee Valley Conservancy as part of their 15th anniversary “Celebration of the Oaks.”

The event has since grown into a premier event in Western New York and continues to be a significant fundraiser supporting Genesee Valley Conservancy’s local land conservation work.
